Story of Treehouse Amazon Peru Team

Travel with purpose with Treehouse Inn

Traveling with Treehouse Inn contributes to jungle conservation in Manu Biosphere Reserve and helping by employing the local people from the Amazon jungle of Manu National Park.

In the year 2019, the family company by Fidel, his wife Ursula, his brother Jasmany and Mama Teresa designed and constructed the Treehouses. The family lived in this area and their father built the houses always in the canopy trees. That’s why Fidel had in his mind to build the Treehouse Inn as a homage to his father who passed away when Fidel was just 14 years. The work was hard and took it’s time. Now we are happy to welcome you to our unique place in the Rainforest and to have you be part of the family. Thanks to the power of all the family, our dream of the Treehouse Amazon Peru has come true.

WHY TREEHOUSE INN?

The staff of the Treehouse Inn is directly from the Amazon Rainforest of Manu National Park. All of us are born and raised in this Manu jungle area. We all are dedicated to the wildlife conservation because our passion is the flora and fauna. That’s why we care that no animals are hunted, no trees are cut and if ever possible no chemical products that will contaminate the soil and rivers are used. Since we ourselves are from the jungle, we feel familiar with the animals and plants. Therefore we make sure that they do not come to harm and that their biodiversity is preserved. The Treehouse Inn is located in the family ecological reserve where we offer you an insight to the jungle life. The family ecological reserve covers 800 hectares of land, which belongs exclusively to the family. Only our clients are allowed to visit this land, giving you an authentic jungle experience. It is a primary Amazonian jungle where we offer our visitors an extreme biodiversity. During our jungle tours you can observe the animals in their natural environment as you have never seen them in any other place. We are dedicated to responsible ecotourism. By booking your jungle adventure with us, you help us with the conservation of the jungle. We employ exclusively local people. By working with us as a sustainable company, the locals also learn to protect and appreciate nature. In other words, the money you pay for your stay at Treehouse Amazon Peru is a salary for the local staff. They see that by protecting nature, their livelihood can be financed.

WHEN VISITING NATURAL AREAS IN GENERAL, ALWAYS REMEMBER:

  • Treehouse Amazon Peru prohibits the feeding of any animal. As cute as an animal can appear, please do not feed them, this will interrupt their natural habitat and habits and can infect them with viruses or bacteria. Moreover, it will cause these animals to become dependent on humans.
  • It is prohibited at Treehouse Inn and the family ecological reserve to hunt any wild animals. Please report any illegal or strange activity you might see along the trails, around the hotel or in its surrounding areas.
  • Remember to leave natural areas pristine and beautiful. Do not leave any trash behind during your visit.
  • Treehouse Inn prohibits the extraction of any flora out of protected areas. Please do not take any samples of plants, branches or flowers that you might find in our paths or nature trails, no matter how beautiful they may appear.
  • Keep your eyes down while walking. Be mindful of your step.
  • When you want to look at something, stop moving! Look before touching.
